He specializes in bringing structure to unorganized financial environments and creating data-driven systems that support sustainable growth.
Before launching Fractional CFO Partners, Derek served as COO & CFO of Osborne Homes, leading finance, FP&A, and operations for a 600-property real estate platform. He previously held senior finance roles at Global Payments and Talus, and began his career in transaction services at KPMG and BDO.
Today, Derek partners closely with founders and CEOs to solve critical financial challenges—forecasting, KPI development, profitability improvement, and decision support during key inflection moments.
